Beginning and Changing Schools

Is your child starting school in B.C. for the first time? Or changing schools – because of a move, or to better meet their needs?

If so, you should know about Open Boundaries. Open boundaries mean that any child in B.C. can go to any public school, anywhere in the province, as long as space permits. The Open Boundaries website includes a checklist you can use to help your child choose the right school. It also includes information on expanding school choices in your community.
