Questions to Ask

You may want to know what to expect when taking a distributed learning course. Here is a list of services you should expect as part of your program. You can use this worksheet when trying to decide which school to attend and what courses to take. You have every right to ask schools whether they provide these services and how they do so.

Distributed learning schools also have expectations of you.  They expect you will complete your course, and many of them may ask you to commit to this in writing.  They also expect you to participate fully in tests and assignments.  They will expect you to write exams and the Foundation Skills Assessment.  As part of the enrollment process, school districts should identify what they expect of you.  Before you enrol, make sure you know what’s expected so you’re not surprised later.
